Description
The ibis was a sacred bird to the ancient Egyptians, but this one is made of wood.
It was sawed out and painted by hand in Colombia in a social institution.
The workshop in Turia offers persecuted, marginalised and disadvantaged people a secure job at fair wages. The birds are imported from there by a small French social enterprise FAIR MOMS, which has been a member of the WFTO (World Fair Trade Organization) since 2020.
