These wooden figures are made so lovingly that they warm your heart. They are turned and carved in the old German handicraft tradition by a small family business in the mountains of southern Germany. Last year I put them on my daughter’s birthday cake. It was a chocolate cake and it snowed powdered sugar on top. This year the stag is on our Advent wreath between the rose hips.
